How is that fine? Different timelines are a mess... let's just say I'm just hoping that getting rid of the virus and everyone from the future still existing is something they can pull off, alright? However the hell they have to do it.
Okay, if you go by certain time travel rules they'd stop the virus but everyone involved in the actual time-travel part would keep the memories of it existing in the first place but know they fixed it. And nobody would be dead and everyone born in all that time still would be just with different happy memories.
I don't know if that's how it'll work, but it sounds nice. I'll hope for that. [ A pause, then: ] My incentive includes somebody born after the plague. The way things worked back home we'd all be erased. It doesn't happen, he doesn't.
